My beautiful client Karla!!
Karla drove four hours one way to get to the magnificent location in Cotswold North Farmcote Bed & Breakfast that I booked for her maternity photo session and we had such a smashing time together. We had a vast expanse of quintessential British countryside all around us and the most incredible autumn sunlight.
You know when you spend that kind of fun, crazy, wild time together where you are navigating through mountains of sheep poo (I think the more sophisticated word for it is “ewe berries” lol!) to get to the right spot with the right light and backdrop… then you also tend to become friends…
In this long day spent together Karla and I had such a beautiful exchange of stories from our lives and how our experiences have shaped us into being the people we are today…
These conversations are what make me love my job. Somewhere in my creative pursuit, I end up connecting with my subjects in a way that is just special. Very very special.
So here’s a glimpse of my now-friend Karla, along the most magical journey of her life. MOTHERHOOD!!
