I don't have time to worry about people who don't like me because I am too busy loving those who mean the world to me.... ... for nothing matters more than FAMILY! Such a funnnnn family photoshoot it was. Kim and her family came all the way from North London to my humble home in Kent for their session. Her little girl is so damn adorable and such a smiling little toddler. She has two gorgeous dogs and such a loving husband. I wanted to keep the session very natural and bring out the inner beauty and depth of their relationship in these images. Hope you like them <3
A few weeks ago I went to Australia to run two outdoor natural light photography workshops. Once there, I was invited to do the family photoshoot of this beautiful family. It was and incredibly cold day in Melbourne when I went to do the family photoshoot of Kath (one of world's best known newborn baby photographer) , John and little Miss. Piper. But when John started to strum the guitar... it almost felt like the skies magically lifted up and sun shone from behind them. It became incredibly sunny amidst the gentle breeze... ... and they all sang together... for hours they held each other and sang while I stood dangerously on moving waters to take pictures. Everything stood still
Chloe is a photographer herself and we first met when she attended my outdoor natural light photography workshop. When she messaged me to say she wants me to photograph her newborn baby girl... I was over the moon and a little worried too. Haha!! its difficult to please us photographers honestly. But Chloe loved the images. I took them to a stunning location in Dartford, Kent.... very close to London in a natural setting with a river flowing and some gorgeous swans... it was incredible to say the least.
Autumn is finally here and nature has become such a beautiful playground of colours. There is a fishing lake next to my home in Kent. I live incredibly close to central London yet it is so magical to see this vastness of natural beauty . I take my clients to this lake for their family photoshoots in this season. Sun slowly crawls in through the gaps made by fallen leaves... plays hide and seek with the misty mornings and kisses the tranquil waters of the lake. It is Magical! https://www.facebook.com/butnaturalphotography/posts/734863746714333
So here's a video tutorial for you where I am showing how to wrap a newborn baby. This little cutie is 21 days old so honestly, this old myth of "I only do shoots for babies who are 15 days old or less" is just that... a myth. If you learn how to wrap well, Well! you can photograph babies up to a month and a half by wrapping them. The baby on the banner of this post is 1.5 months old and I didn't say to her mum, "no I can't photograph her cos she's not a newborn anymore." Nope! I just wrapped the baby. Here are some shots from my shoot of which I am showing the video
